I am at a total loss here, have had a engineer out from ntl, the line and the modem are fine, but my connection still randomly drops and reconnects. any ideas whats wrong? it has to be software somewhere surely?
hi there, yup exactly the same as me dmpoole. Gonna try a reinstall over the weekend, it needs it anyways. The pc is directly connected to the modem, which is the silver type. If your mate finds a solution can you let me know?
what modem did he have? I have just ordered ADSL, NTL have been calling me a liar for months and made me do a unnessacery reinstall so they can kiss my nuts now anyway lol.
