The domain highlighting is interesting - it was played with ages ago in Firefox and binned (mainly because everyone said they hated it), and IE8's doing exactly the same now...

I still fail to see the point of the domain highlighting...![]()

Internet Explorer has always been behind the times...bless it.![]()

sorry for large size

Not bad, but far from being in a usable day-to-day state.
Youtube wouldn't work, even the forums didn't display properly.
As above this beta is really a tech demo. To be honest they would have done better releasing a standalone "IE8 renderer tester" (I know they have one as I saw it in a Channel9 video a while ago) rather than the full blown release.Downloaded this. Any idea when its out proper? I'm guessing 2009 perhaps?
now that you don't need to run windows update in a browser I never even use IE anymore except for the monthly Live Onecare security scanner so /me won't be trying this!
IE7 hasn't been out that long yet!
I agree with mrk though - I never use IE at all any more.
So I'm guessing you must both use Automatic Updates?
