I was asked about what sort of salary I'd be after by the HR woman - that was all the discussion I got, as she said it was their policy not to discuss pay levels in interviews. Nice really, I don't like that bit.cheers for that.
with regards to the "What salery are you looking for?" bit.
they asked me to provide this on application with my CV, to which i did add that i am looking for something reasonable to the resposiblities that would be expected of me. They have now asked me again to come prepered with that tommorow.
confusingwhat do i say. just stick with what is the range? etc

I was honest, I said I didn't like that question because it's easy to under-sell oneself by trying to be modest, and also easy to over-sell oneself and come off arrogant. I mentioned that I felt I had undersold myself at the interview for the last job, and had been on the equivalent of 20k for six months. Then I mentioned the job before that paid me 23.5k. I then said £25k would be lovely!
The offer came through with £24.5k which is reasonable for a starting salary, plus their benefits package is pretty good![]()

As some of you know i finally had enough of being ****** around with my current employeer, so i applied to another agent that was looking for staff.
They sent me a later inviting me to a recuitment day, i then recived a phone call from the direct of the firm telling me not to bother with that and just to attend an interview to my convenience. I said monday or wednesday is best and he asked me what time (bit supprised that he was willing to work around me and my other commitments) anyway, there are 4 positions up for grabs within about 20mile radius of my house, the closest being accross the road
there are 2 people that he has called up and asked them not to attend the recuitment day. SO i am hopeful, this looks good does it not??
anyway 5pm tomorrow i have to attend Head Office, so have told work i have a denist appoinment and need to finish earlyideal.
so going to have a shower, get changed. (this is where SCUZI comes in)
i am thinking of a dark gray pin strip suit, with white shirt and dark gray tie.
im going to get there 15mins early, with my folder i use for work at the moment, with pen and paper to jot things down. and i have come up with 3/4 questions that i want to ask them.
is there anything else i should think about before turning up tomoorow afternoon???
