"Tidy" is one way of saying it. Don't you mean, "removed sic's posts challenging my ultimate dominion of this thread". Incidentally, your advice is meaningless, Don or not. Grey ties are fine, as long as it's a decent tie (which goes for any tie really doesn't it?). To put it in perspective, I am a programmer at a record label and I wore a grey tie to my interview! Ah well, guess I must be boring eh master? Perhaps you can consider a career change when you're replaced by a computer system designed by boring programmers?

Jesus Christ. I removed my posts as well. Sic didn't challenge anything on topic with me, he got his knickers in a twist over a joke I made, just like yourself.

I must apologise for having an opinion on fashion. You wore a grey tie therefore my opinion is null and void and your's is 100% correct. Well I have news for you Richard old boy, I wore a red tie once and I won £500 on a scratchcard the very same day. Wearing a red tie makes you a winner. Fact.
The world would be a boring place if we all thought the same clothes looked great.

As much fun as it sounds to have a sworn mortal enemy, I don't think I have the time to put into the forums to be a good one, so what the hey! All is forgiven! Now I have to see about cancelling that contract... ;)
 
well i fouhnd myself an appointment. so now out the office untill 3.15 then im off home at 3.30.

so wish me luck all ill call back before i go :D

Anything other than a limp sweaty hand is a start but out of your choices, mine is sort of a British/German bastardisation. Seems to work.
 
well i went in at about 4.45 bit early and waited.

5pm the directors come down, firm handshake and invite me upstairs :eek:

grilled me with questions good and proper!!!!!

asked me to go downstairs and wait for them to have a chat.

gotta go back next week for a 2nd interview :eek: they really grilled me my mind is now blank of what they asked, but they are going to ask a lot of the same kind of questions again. :( but i dont remember :(
 
yeah, well done dude. IME, second interview is with an HR type to check that you're not an axe murderer or anything
 
they still have there recuitment day on friday which i cant get to anyway. but apparently they have 20 going there. with 3/4 positions available.

hopefully it'll all work out :D we'll see, but for now. Skins party tomo :D
