Invincible

Not a fan of the epilogue style final eps in these seasons, 75% of it was emo talk. Rest of the season was decent.

Thragg is a beast, maybe too op. Makes sense he can be as powerful as he is but to not even flinch from Mark going ham is a bit farfetched - can't train that from birth.

Hope they have a good arc going forward now that the Viltrimites are going underground. The virus is a copout and I'd rather see Mark/Nolan go through some Super Sayan evolution to face Thragg than fall on their swords and die to the virus to save earth.

That was a good eps! The Thragg hallucinations were somewhat terrifying as I kept expecting one of them to be real and yet I breathed relief each time it was anything but. That ending conversation was quite scary in itself - the sheer willpower to remain composed and deliver that ultimatum!

The animation felt all over throughout this season, at points it wasn't far off One Punch Man s3 levels of bad

Seems like the lions share of the budget gets spent on big name actors for some reason.

I struggled through this season, it was better than the last that's for sure but I'm not sure if I'm invested enough to keep watching. I get the feeling it'll just cycle back into the near constant melodrama that irked me in the last few seasons now that the viltrumites are in hiding, it doesn't help that I honestly don't like the main character either.

Agree with you on the budget mainly going on the voice talent, even bit characters seem to have 'well known' actors for them where they could save money and get proper VA in, would be cheaper.

I think I just get spoiled these days with what anime is coming out that every scene looks like a painting to use that cliche and the battle scenes being way better.

I'll give s5 a watch but like s4 it's not going to be a must watch on the weekly releases.

I enjoyed this season a bit more as this season felt like it moved things forward a bit, Season 2 and 3 felt like part 1 of a 2 parter.

I cant get away from the feeling there was something wrong with the pacing though, this might have something to do with all the adverts per episode.

I find the pacing a bit of a mess myself to be honest, and I'm entirely advertisement free.
