Ok. No rush anyway.
Shame the biggest highlight in 7 is the UI. Was really hoping to see then open up the OS for items like keyboards. Would love to have SwiftKey on an iPhone.
If you download the .ipsw and just do an upgrade rather than a restore, it apparently works without any UDID registration but performance is reportedly a bit naff.

From all the information I've seen, I'll have to upgrade to a fifth generation iPod touch as the forth generation iPod touch isn't supported (which is strange since the iPhone 4 is).
A keyboard like Swype or Swiftkey on Android, where you trace each word letter by letter without taking your greasy digit from the screen, rather than jab each individual letter to complete a word.
They couldn't even get an iPad beta ready in time. Can't help but think we'll see lots of tweaks and changes to the style before the final release in 3 months or so.
It would make sense for battery life to fall on iOS7 with the new multi-tasking but if I had a penny for everytime there's an update and people complain of slowdown and battery life...

It certainly does kill battery life.... third charge today already!
Left home on 100%, listened to 50 minute album on way to work, 55% on arrival at work.
Charged up to 85% before nipping out for lunch, listened to half of Tron:Legacy OST on walk to/from tuck shop, plus about 10 minutes browsing.... 34% when I got back to the office.
I expected it to be like this to be honest, but I've dropped back to 6.1.4 for now as daily driver.... will chuck it straight on the iPad mini once they get it released on the dev portal for that.
Still annoyed about lack of trace keyboard though. Grrr....
