iOS4

I have kindle on the iPhone, and i dunno, you get about 15 lines of text and then have the tab to flip the page. I dunno if it can be use for a long session of reading. I suppose a quick 15 min browse is not too bad but I can't imagine sitting there for 2 hours as I can do with a book.

I've read two short (200 pages) novels on the iPhone Kindle app and whilst not the best experience it was agreeable.

Once I get my iPad I should imagine things get a lot better...

You have the iPad though no?

I do, and I have a old 2G iPhone, I so want to upgrade because it is an old and slow.

I am just refering to the earlier post about waiting for the iBook app for the iPhone, I just don't see it as a big deal on such a small screen.

On the iPad, it is actually nice experience to use.

EDIT - I just found out I have close to £70 in my Orange Phone Fund. If I apply that to a PAYG phone, then I can get the 16G model for £400 odd...not too bad I suppose.
