IPAD pfffft, bye bye

Very nice Nick - glad you decided not to go overboard :D

Overboard.... Never!........

Not buying nothing else other than a direct die mount and some backplates, tbh cant believe a £600 card doesn't have them in the first place.

And the worse thing about the cards is i cant install them till everything else is done and i have been informed by the mrs i cant spend all day and night sorting it :( we'll see about that!

Sorry bout crap pics, taken with phone, will use cam when its up and running.

If only the back rad was 15mm lower, will see how it pans out when i pipe her up. Had to get file out to case to get koolance res in due to the lip on case and drill 2 holes in case to get access to the 2 screws which hold the res and fan controller in.

The chip naked nick? Please let me know how you get on especially with the all important temps.

May grab a formula and 4770k my self.

No mate, but it will soon when it comes, dellided but need to redo/re-seat, temps all over so will sort tomoz.

Will be able to give you a better idea then.

Any clues as to why gpu's are stuck at 575mhz in heaven??

What are you using to read/report clocks? As iirc heaven near always reports the wrong clocks speeds while GPUz may not read the classified correctly.

What does PX say?

And cheers, not looking forward to de-lidding but its a risk I'm going to have to take :p

Edit: I actually thinking of getting the same memory kit too :o

Meant to be awesome ram with the right board ;) PX is reading wrong, gpu z is ok just having a quick heaven bench, cpu at default though :(
These cards need blocks!!

Just ran 2945 in heaven with a +90 offset, temps at 74 and 71c
Only getting 97% usage no doubt due to default cpu speeds

I'll keep you posted, at the mo i have 3 cores running 59-61c and 1@ 81c  this is on auto volts (showing 1.2v, cpuz) hoping its just the TIM on the IHS and not under it, no biggie either way.

Edit: thats running IBT

Got the classy's to 1245MHz ones at 1.2v other at 1.87v(dont know why its different) at 110% power limit, hoping to reach 1350 with voltage tool and modded bios. Temps top card @ 71c, bottom 62c

Decided to do a few updates and improve the cooling, also getting ready for gpu waterblocks, so no, its not all for the cpu!! After reading reviews of the rads they are comparable to a 60mm thick equivalent which is good for this case although expensive.

few updates, couldn't get the 2nd 240 in the bottom, got the hole cut ready, need to cut out bottom 2 pci slots and then its gonna be tight, very tight and need lots of 90 fittings to make it work but that will happen when the gpu blocks arrive. and those XSPC AX rads are very nice indeed. And obviously the outlet pipe from cpu block to the 360 is just temporary
