Wish there was an option on al polls that just "show me the results" so I don't have to vote to see it (voted neutral just to see what the stats are, because I'm wanting to get one soon)

Well there is, well I can see that link which says " View Poll Results" anyway.

I've got the 2G Version now that I've had for about a year. Its a great phone and I love the iPod integration.

The camera is lacking in a flash, I like to take pictures on nights out and that and it's a shame I can't do this with my phone. The bluetooth is terrible as you can only use it for a headset, I want to be able to send pictures and the like across bluetooth.

Still great phone. Tempted to get the 3G but am waiting till it drops in price a bit first I think.

Im still loving my 3G, its the first phone ive had where browsing the Internet is a realistic option.

Only downsides ive experienced so far are the poor 3G signal and the "corrective" text feature, its helpful occasionally but more often than not it gives me unwanted words.

Would definitely miss it a lot if I had to go back to a normal phone!

You can turn off the corrective/predictive text option in the keyboard settings.

Best phone i've ever had and App store means you never get bored as always something new to play with.

Battery life could be better and ability to run apps in background but overall an amazing bit of hardware.

MMS - Where the hell is it? I know a lot of people will 'claim' that they don't need it, but the truth is they will use it at some point. On a device with such a big screen it virtually warrants use. I've never used it in the past because I had a pos Sony w880i phone with a midget screen. I still get a lot of MMS messages from friends and have to goto my desktop PC just to view them. Even though I've hardly used it in the past I can now see myself using it a lot.

Just use Safari, no need for looking on the desktop

Overall I like my iPhone a lot, and have about 7 pages of apps installed... but something that's quite important to me such as to do lists, and upcoming events just aren't up to par with my old Dell Axim... I miss the today screen with everything all there infront of me as soon as i switched it on rather than having to go looking through 2 or 3 pps to make sure I haven't missed something I should be doing.

Other than this, I'm pretty happy other than the usual gripes mentioned already :)

agree with you on the axim comment. tho i am surprised peeps have so many pages. i use catergorize sort my apps out in order

I've had my 3G for just under two weeks now, I'm loving the device so far. Being able to browse the internet where ever I am is great, can be painful at times when there is only an edge signal.

Battery life could be better, but I usually have chance to charge mine every night as I'm never really away from home. The one thing which bugs me is that the SMS app can be slow to start up but other than that it is the perfect phone :).

I'm neutral, if you have an ipod touch or iphone 2g, then I'd recommend to you don't bother. 3g access is no faster than edge, and edge is more reliable. Most people have a dedicated gps nowadays so that's out the window. The iphone UI is special and the app store is amazing, the 3g iphone is okay.

I'm still happy with mine. It is pretty much the best internet phone out there and the iPod functionality is a bonus (took me a month or more before I used that side of it). There are niggles with the responsiveness. Sometimes it just seems to chug for no good reason (memory cluttered?) and Safari does barf on occasion.

I like it a lot but I'd probably get something else when contract up for renewal - HTC Touch HD looks the business and addresses the "flaws" of the iPhone rather well. It's only Orange right now and Orange's unlimited internet is the most limited out there. I'd prefer T-Mobile for internet.

Pity that you cannot find a cheap contract with say 50-100mins plus unlimited internet. That's what you need for an internet phone!

You don't know what you're talking about; 3G is many many times faster, that's not just on paper but in practice. To suggest or explicitly say is just utter nonsense.

I'm getting more frustrated with the lack of a decent battery life, I wouldn't mind so much if I could put another battery in, but, I cannot. So, I've purchased (from HK) a solar-powered portable charger for it for situations like yesterday when I really needed to call home and find train times (the one time I've needed to in months with the Trains application I bought); grr.

Still not able to make calls due to this "Call Failed" error I constantly get. Took the handset into O2 on Tuesday, They put a new sim in and it still hasn't fixed the problem. Took it to Carphone Warehouse, they want me to contact apple. Apple are closed for Xmas, Faaaantastic. :(

Just thought i'll let some of you Apple freaks out there that you can pick up a Iphone for free Via upgrade but a Refurb version. :)

I've got a 2G version. There's definitely times I wished I had 3G but I'm not 100% sure the 3G iPhone will be my next. I might wait for the next Andriod phone.

my one major gripe wiht the app phone is the appstore updates. you gotta download and do em individually yet cydia does its apps updates all in one go. its not a problem when its one or 2 apps but spent past 20 mins doing 12 apps

via iTunes there is an Update All button. But yes, I agree that this should also be on the phone.
