Iphone 3g earphones.

I managed to pick up some Super.fi 4vi's (annoying name) from america for about £45 to go with my V1 iphone about 8 months ago and they have been an absolute dream in terms of output quality. My only gripe is that the in-line button is poorly designed. Mine lost the rubber cover in a few weeks and it is nearly impossible to use especcially a double click to skip a song. I have given up using the button completely now.

Super.fi 4vi are around £100, I guess the 5vi will be around £150+ (out soon).

Never tried these one in particular but have the Super.fi 5 Pro and love em, cancels out most background noise (even on the tube/plane) and very comfortable for 4-5 hours. Well worth the £140ish I paid.

Cheers for the link, although at that price I think I'll stick with the standard one for now!

I've got Etymotic hf2s whish set me back £100. It was a toss up between them and the Super.fis. I just found the Etymotics to be slightly more comfortable and to provide truer reproduction (less enhanced bass, moremid and top end) which is what I was looking for.

Probably not to everyone's taste but they are fantastically comfortable and the construction is excellent.

CX300's, but quite tempted with the Sony MDR-EX85 now. Only just brought a new pair of CX300's aswell!

Do they fit well in the ear as they are plastic? The CX300 have nice rubber changeable buds you can use which fit nicely.

Well my Sony MDR-EX85 have just arrived and they are absolutely outstanding, completely wiping the floor with my EP630's and CX300's!

The only problem I have is they do not isolate sound so I can't play embarrassing songs loudly in public but the sound quality is amazing and they come with a very clever carrying case, for £15 there simply is nothing in this price range that can match it.

Cheer jim!

Did you get the white ones, or did you find the black for the same price?

Black ones are out of stock but white are in and are now £13.99
Ordered a set last night for my wife's touch (purely because of this thread <g>).

Hope this helps
