I always liked my EX71's :(

Sound the same as my Beyers DT770 Pro! ;)

I'm tempted to buy these as i was always keen on getting a new pair, as i have had my EX71's for about 4 years. I just don't want the iPod white ones as you look like a burk. I'm also waiting to here some reviews of the new Apple headphones with the dual drivers in.

The frequency response curve in that just looks like the human ear frequency response curve but flipped, not sure if thats a good thing. Maybe it is as it'll create a flat frequency response....

-3db @ 8hz.....yeah ill believe it when i hear it lol.
 
These MDR-EX85 are pretty good! Not as good as my beyers for obvious reasons but are very adequate for using with my iPhone 3G. Just playing some Binaural Pearl Jam at the moment which sounds pretty good!

I think one of my drivers is rattling/farting with some intensive bass though on the left earphone. I'm just hope it's them wearing in as i really can't be fussed to send the back...
 
I forgot to mention mine were delivered a couple of weeks back. Black ones for 15 pounds.

Amazing upgrade for the price.

These are now £13.99 for either the black or white sets, in stock, FREE delivery.

You cannot buy better in ear headphones for less than this imo.

Just ordered a pair of the EX-85s in Black for 13.99. I've been using apple earbuds since I got my first iPod in 2002, so I guess anything will be an upgrade! Will miss the skip button on my iPhone headphones though

Only problem is they lack some bass compared to the CX300's
