Do you all pay for these apps from cydia? Im quite surprised at how much some of them cost compared to what you'd pay on the app store (I know its completely different)..

There are sources out there for free cydia apps. Just need to find the sources.

Everything working now, Cydia must have update, I've just got everything no problems.

I have bought most of the cydia apps like
Haptic Pro
LockInfo
Infinifolders
Springtomize

The others I have got for free coz I feel they are way over priced for what they are. Only 2 of them. I don't install much from cydia. Just make the fone look and sound pretty.

I buy all App store apps.

You dont have to pay for them, have a google around.

Right well i cant seem to jb my iphone4 for some odd reason....dont know if ive done something wrong but after connecting my iphone to itunes backing it up then downloading the latest OS and installing it...it wont let me jb it.

Ive ran the redsnow exe file which i downloaded from the limerain site...but it keeps asking me for some ipsw file which i cannot find on my laptop. Ive even downloaded the 4.3 OS from the link given on the limerain site but again no ipsw file.

So im now a bit peeved off as i didnt realise that what a royal pain in the arse this new jb was going to be...unlike the 4.1 jb which was such a simple one click jobbie.

Any ideas as to how i can jb my iphone because no matter what i do...it aint working...even had to restore my iphone back to factory to see if that would help but nothing.

Just bought Spingtomise, it's not making any changes that I select despite pressing respring. Am I missing something obvious?

You had made sure you have turned the options on? I made that mistake myself when i got it.

eg: Turning on the 'Use Custom Number' option for 5 icons etc.

Phewww tried again and its jb'ing now...found the pesky ipsw file that i was after...it was hidden in my computer so just ran a search in my computer and voila i found it

....

I think so, I've tried turning carrier name off, hit respring and there's no change at all. Tried playing about with a variety of settings and each time nothing happens.

Hmmm just a heads up but that aptbackup is a pile of stinking dog turd...i backed up my jb apps via aptbackup....then updated to the new os, re-jb'd it then downloaded aptbackup and clicked on restore...when it rebooted everything and i mean everything ie apps have disappeared :/ including the non jb apps as well.

Stupid ****ing app that doesnt do what its meant to do :/

yesterday i couldnt get anything but tried today after cydia update and they all just worked.
