iPhone 4s and giffgaff

They dont, thats why you need to jailbreak. The option isnt there on the iphone because they dont allow it, but if you jailbreak you can bring it back.

It's against their T&C meaning you shouldn't do it at all and you could possibly get kicked off the network for doing so.

I've been with GiffGaff since Christmas.

Only pain is having to manually top up but other than that the performance of the network has been fine. Saving approx £30/month from what my iPhone 4 contract with O2 was.

I can reemphasise this. I had a friend who streamed a couple of films or something at like 2am. 5gb of data. They took it as suspicious behaviour and cut him off for tethering.

As a side point does anyone have a gigabag in their 3G iPad? Thinking of getting one myself.

Telefonica O2 own GiffGaff, it's not just an MVNO so no need to worry unless the company is sold.

just for reference, you can't use iPhone's native voicemail, you will have to dial 443, can be annoying, but its ok with the low prices.

Would love to know if this is possible! Also, don't know about you guys but MMS and iPhone 4 5.0.1 will not work with giffgaff. A lot of people complaining about it.

You have to amend the MMS setting to GiffGaff's settings.

Also, everyone missing Visual Voicemail.....give "Hullomail" a try (available for free on the appstore).

cant change the vmail setting which is annoying, but you can set-up text alerts for vmail, which then involves one click to pick them up.

Rooky, if you are referring to The Cloud, nope, there is nothing like that available on giffgaff. However, you can't really expect it, you are saving money on things like that for a reason!
