iPhone 5 reservation

Picked one up today in Norwich, Sent 3 back as rejects, if other people are doing similar over the scratches out of the box I can forsee there being a shortage for a while..

Yup my Pre-order is 2nd-8th October. I just rang Apple store in Trafford Centre. Non available. :(

Another 9-10 days before i get mines. :(

The only issue I have with that video is, they are already being mass manufactured? So quite frankly, unless there is a known issue with the process, or quality control is going to be stepped up (both of which are entirely possible, mind), there won't be an improvement in the quality of the devices, really.

Annoyed that the reservation system hasn't worked (had to get someone else to do it for me from an iTouch, wouldn't go through on my MBP through any browser), and now I have to wait until tomorrow...again.

Are you absolutely sure about this? Could be just trying to make customers feel more relaxed about the purchase, as such.
 
Today's the 3rd day reservation. If i dont get an email tonight, i'll just sit tight and wait for mines to be delivered :(

Same here, I might try one more time tomorrow though. If I have no luck I will wait for my 3-9 Oct delivery. My local store is Regent St. so I guess that might have lots of demand so I don't fancy my chances.

I think I would rather collect in store though, then I can check it before leaving and swap immediately if needed...all these reports of scuffs.

The issue for me is slightly worse, I will potentially have £80 of Apple Gift Cards left over that I could put towards my purchase. However, if I order online and then get a reservation, I miss out on that £80...

So essentially, I can't order xD

Reserved today bang on 9am, again...we'll see what happens.
