*** iPhone 5S/5C - September 10th ***

Took my sister in to EE at cribbs today and she walked out with a white 5C. She is extremely happy with her purchase after using a 3GS for three years.

Anyone gone to a 5s from a 4s? Any benefits?

Just made the jump, few nice gimmicky features such as the fingerprint lock and it feels a bit nippier. Although I have not really had much time to play around and find out more bits such as how good the camera is and battery life.

I also got a good price by trading my 4s which covered most of the handset charge.

I'm probably looking to buy it from apple and get the sim only plan from 3 (15pm). What are 3 like though? Last I checked they were pretty shoddy (admitedly years ago). The deal looks almost too good to be true..

3 has been amazing for me, been with them 4 years now and much better than orange, even their customer service is good! I manage to change my plan to another inside a 10 min phone call. Signal reception is plenty and fast on 3G.

Raymond have you ever got a good deal with 3, that's not been listed on the website? I'm inclined to upgrading my 4s, however I'm finding the monthly price plans a little high. I've never really had to haggle when it's come to contracts but wondered what your experience has been like if you ever got a good deal at the discretion of the sales assistant?

Right I am sure I want a 5c now can any one help me pick a colour?! I really am drawn to the green but so unsure if I would love it in a years time and then I should get the white instead...

Might have to have a nosey in an apple store at lunch in the week but I don't really get enough time for that.

I played with 5c today, it was the green one I demoed, its better in the flesh than in the pictures, blues not bad either. I would go for one of them if it had to be coloured one.

I would probably go white overall though.

-1 for pink/red

I had a 7-10 day waiting time for my space grey, any idea if they could allow me to keep my waiting time, but switch to a white one? (Silver, not gold)

It was great, I tried it in the Apple store this morning!

With all this talk of slo mo I tried it on my Note 2 for the first time in the 9 months I've owned it and sure enough, things moved much slower than real time. I'm so glad Apple have pioneered this game changing feature.

I've only ever gone for the deal online, currently £12.90 all you can eat data, 200min and 5k texts with a 30 day contract.

Can't complain about that.

Cheers.

Now to begin the difficult process of buying out of my o2 contract :/ I'm just over a year through but even if I add the amount it costs me to buy out to the total price of the phone + (24*12.90) it's still cheaper than switching to o2 refresh (and that's with the most equivalent o2 contract data-wise).
