iPhone 6+ bendgate issue.

Can't believe people are still calling it click bait, despite so many people now reporting bending after just a week.
It is clearly a design floor. Which they need to make a revised model.

Apples testing says otherwise, as does independent testing by consumer reports.

Some strong thumbed Canadian goon bending phones at their weak point for youtube payouts = clickbait in my book.

My iPhone 6 is just fine btw.
 
Testing all depends where you place the pressure points.
There isn't a problem with ip6.

Just look over the last few paged and see how many have bent phones. there is a clear design floor.

According to CR iphone 6 is weaker than the plus - regardless theres lots of claims with very little evidence - this is the definition of FUD.

Macrumors is full of posts from suspiciously new members making claims but not backing up with evidence or even pathetically claiming photos from Google as their own.

If you genuinely have a bent phone Apple will help - if you are scared of bent phones dont buy one - if you are perpetuating rumours for a phone you were never going to buy then get a life.

Replacing a phone is a start, but with it looking like an issue, it's just going to happen again. They need a revised model.

Again pressure tests mean nothing, unless they are applied at the weakest point.

Yes lets ignore Apple and respected consumer web sites and believe in anonymous forum posts and dubiously edited YouTube videos - gullible much?:D
 
I'm short sighted. I have a prescription that corrects it.

Internet hearsay without corroboration is unreliable evidence. Show me some sensible evidence from multiple sources that passes scrutiny and I'll happily change my mind.
 
You're not going to get proof that'll convince you and telling other people it's clickbait or Apple said everything's OK isn't going to satisfy them.

Can't you just agree to disagree and save everyone a lot of time?

A colleague of mine posted an Wikipedia article stating that another one of my colleagues invented the Donner Kebab. Some kid may have quoted that in a school report, but it didn't make it true. ;)
 
Again pointless, as the test aren't exactly aligned with the week point. This apples torture tests missed it, as does the standard industry ones, but why they are bending in a short time in pockets.

That methodology does not work as it is not aimed and the now known weak point. So try again.
 
What's a calendar got to do with iPhones bending?

You can't prove they're bending in pockets, so please stop stating it as a fact.

Who would lie? Theres a whole sub forum of android fanboys on here to start with. Only a gullible moron would be convinced by anonymous internet pics.

I have a plus and if my £600 phone could be easily damaged I would be the first to criticise - why would someone who doesnt even own one care?
