Is anyone else's ups tracking working yet?

Mine isn't working either.

I've signed up to a 9GB double speed 4G data SIM only deal with EE, but do you think this allowance will be enough? I'm coming from an 'unlimited everything' plan but that was only 3G speeds.

I hate being restricted, but it doesn't look like there are any uncapped 4G deals around, and I didn't really want to go with Three.

Anyone?

Quick tracking links:

Syncreon Tracking
(The logistics company with all the iPhones, currently in the process of handing them over to either UK Mail or UPS)
- First box enter the "Delivery Number" (starts with an 8) from your Apple order
- Second box enter the "Order Number" (starts with a W) from your Apple order

The Syncreon site seems to show 18:00 as the time for delivery for at least a few people, so it's likely that's just a generic "some time during the day" on the 19th rather than an accurate slot.

UPS Tracking
(One of the possible couriers handling your iPhone delivery)
- Likely enter the "Tracking number" (probably starts something like 1ZW) from your Apple order

UK Mail Tracking
(One of the possible couriers handling your iPhone delivery)
- In the first box enter the "Tracking number" (starts with 30) from your Apple order

EDIT:
For those with UK Mail the 30 number appears to have disappeared from the Apple site. If you have it still (it auto completes for me on the UK Mail site as I've entered it previously) it still works for tracking purposes, otherwise:

- Leave the first box blank
- Stick the "Delivery Number" from the Apple site (starts with an 8) in the second box, labeled "Customer reference number"
- Stick your postcode in the next box (space sensitive)

Glad it's not coming via DPD, they have that little tracking widget that shows where the van is on a map and how many more stops the guy has before he gets to your house - I wouldn't get any work done.

For UPS mine was indeed the tracking number on the order status/tracking page on the apple store, although mine started with 1ZW. Wasn't finding anything this morning but now says:

A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

Ordered through CPW and was asked to provide details of my current Vodafone account. Hoping they marry up today and it gets dispatched!

It depends totally on your usage. I used to have a 1GB data allowance which was plenty. I didn't stream any content via iPlayer or Netflix unless I was on WiFi, I synched my Spotify playlists to play offline when I wanted them for the car, and most of my mobile data went to webpages and web requests for apps like Facebook, Twitter and the like.

If you do the things above that I didn't, you'll use more. My deal's been upped to 5GB usage, so I'm going to have to get used to having more data to play with!

I know what you're saying but at least they're pretty accurate for delivering in the alloted time.

I'd rather be anxiously looking at the tracking page, than the crap shoot that is "any time between 8 - 5pm".

On a side note, have you ever seen inside the courier vans on launch day? They're floor to ceiling iPhone boxes :D

Relax, they re-use tracking numbers.

It will update once the parcel is collected and in the system for delivery :)
