It looks crisp on the 5 and 6+ but on the 6 it looks "blurrier".
Is this because the DPI is the same on the 6 and 5 but the 5 is a smaller screen?

But it still doesn't make sense!

First impressions coming from an iPhone 4 are :
1) I can live with the bigger size
2) It light.
3) It's fast. I press things and they happen as quickly as I'd like them to, and it'll run lots and lots of apps at the same time without slowing down.

There's a lot of apps that are not optimised for the new screen res, but the stretchy things seems to work OK.

I appear to have broken Dropbox. Re-enabled Camera Upload and it just crashes immediately. :(

I think I'm gonna keep mine after all. What's the best way of selling my 5? Apple or eBay? £190 from Apple which is probably what I'd end up with after fees on the bay.

^lots of sync programs are broken at the moment due to iOS 8.

Pretty much every cloud backup app is broken atm. I don't get what the developers are on they've had enough time.

Edit: don't ebay at least with Apple you won't get scammed (unless you're buying one :D).

I quite like the gel case. If I wasn't mid contract I would be all over this. Very jealous!

I think I read somewhere that Dropbox wasn't functioning correctly with iOS8 at the moment.

That is indeed the plus :)

I believe the gel case and screen protector came from amazon. The screen protector is a little on the small side, but the case seems to fit very well.

Really want to get hold of one asap. I wonder if those mobile stalls in the centre of shopping malls may have them...

I'm getting more used to the 6. 240fps slow mo video is great as is time lapse.

Battery life is the big one for me so far.

When I picked up the phone today at about 13:30 is had just over 60% battery. I have restored an icloud backup (~3gb) and been playing around with it most of the day. Setting up accounts, testing a few things like geekbench, games, photos and videos along with using apps like facebook.

It still has 36% battery. That's a lot better than my 5 battery life from memory

Just read this article http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2014/09/19/iphone-6-review/

The 'reach-ability' feature is crude but seems to work ok - just double tap (not press) the home button to reach the top of the screen. It half the screen down

Build quality is amazing and its now sitting in a nice transparent case i bought on ebay that seems to fit really well. Waiting for my full body screen protector to arrive now.

Things i like about the IP6

- Build Quality
- Touch screen is very sensitive
- Typing feels more snappier
- Size is pretty much the same size as a Samsung S4

with the lack of screen protectors I'm wondering how to protect the screen until then

I ripped both off in the Apple shop

Gorilla glass 3 is pretty tough you know

General likes from me -

Battery
Speed
Better camera & video
Coming from a 5 I love the fingerprint scanner. No more stupid 8 digit password all the time (required by work security policy)

I can't see the need for overpriced ugly sticky back plastic (aka screen protectors) unless you've got really sharp keys or pockets lined with sandpaper. In four years I only got a couple of tiny scratches you can barely see (via colour shift) from keys/coins on the iPhone 4, which has been unprotected from day one.
