I get the point of these thumb pics, but you can just double tap on the home button to bring all of the top half of the screen down.

I hope a future update will let us customise how far it drops as it jumps between too big and too small for me atm :(.

My other half hasn't yet, but she has her clear phone cover at the ready!

Phew! I thought I was just weird :D.

Can anyone compare the 6 and 6 Plus screen on a 1080 movie of some kind and report back. I did this and noticed a significant difference, but this is to the be expected because the Plus is 1080p...

But what I don't get is how is the 5 better looking that the 6?!?!

Well, there are a few things with that:

-- It's not particularly slick in operation
-- Introducing two additional taps to every function more than half way up the screen is... sub-optimal
-- It doesn't particularly help me tap the other side of the phone, which my thumb also can't reach

Could well be that actually as the 6 is completely beating the 5 for me.

I guess I could run the 5/6 on the same video and record it on my 4 lol. Get some proof.

Good thing devices don't have feelings :D.

Are you using the youtube app or via safari? Youtube and most other youtube apps are not updated for the 6 yet, so what you're seeing is the app is stretched from 1136x640 to 1334x750 giving it a blurred look.

App developers have to add some resources (LaunchImage etc), rebuild using the iOS 8 SDK and of course fix any autolayout or other issues for our apps to work on the 6 & 6+ as a minimum.

Received my 6 quite late, but got it all setup off a backup and ready to go. At first I had major reservations over the screen size as i'm so used to that of the 4s, but now i'm starting to get the hang of it and i'm loving it.

The double tap to bring the top level of the screen down is a nice feature to have :)

Hate that all the apps I mostly use look disgusting on the 6+ hope they update them soon.
Overall I'm loving the phone came from the Note 3 but I've always been an iOS guy, feels much better in the hand than the note. I never use cases or screen protectors.

Also was it just my box or is the iPhone 6+ box just a blank white outline of an iPhone on the outside? Usually it's a colour picture of the phone..

Yeah seems to be normal that it's just a white outline now. Saves them having to produce different boxes for each colour though - keep it as generic as possible :) Surprised it just says iPhone on it too - all previous boxes have said iPhone 4, 5, 5S or whatever.

Steve Jobs would have said...

"You're holding it wrong. Use it with two hands."
