Funny, my friend said exactly the samething and that's what EE are doing.

He has switched off his mobile data now incase he gets a unexpected high bill.

I'm going to go slightly OT now for a minute - Apple themselves are up to the same trick with the 2011 15" MacBook Pro. There are at tens of thousands (at minimum) that have AMD GPU failure, usually multiple times. Apple keep denying publicly there's a problem, and store staff can't admit to it. Mention consumer protection in a country so equipped and they crumble without a fight cover the cost of repair on out of warranty kit.

Anyone else seeing the reports about the 6 Plus bending if kept in a 'tight' pocket for too long?

A guy on Mac Forums posted a pic here.

I suppose a phone that size made of aluminum will do that but I can see a lot of people getting angry about this!

I was very conscience of this when I had my phone in my pocket to the point where I was sitting at an awkward angle just to make sure I wasnt exerting too much pressure on the phone!

It looked like I needed to go pee urgently.

Fat american sat on it?

Who wears a suit tight enough to do that!

Not going to read 16 pages of that thread, has it happened to anyone else?

Hipsters? ;)

Collecting on Friday was an interesting cultural experience. Hipsters meets burqas. One could form the impression that a lot of UK iPhones are winging their way to foreign markets. A fair few people were collecting the maximum two and paying cash...

Having played with both a 5s and a 6, I have come to the conclusion that the 5s feels like a more expensive piece of hardware. It also feels better built.

But you wouldn't expect a 6 to bend...

Wasn't a tight suit apparently. Some people suggested that it may have come like that to start with, and others saying that it isn't surprising as the phones can get very hot.. heat + thin aluminium body.

Looks like EE aren't the only ones screwing you guys out of data, I've used a shed load on O2 this weekend apparently!

I'm struggling to type on anything other than iMessage as the keyboard is too big!

Problem is, if EE offered unlimited mobile data again then it wouldn't be a problem. Only Three and GiffGaff do it now but GiffGaff is on trial 4G so its not good at the moment.

Years ago, everyone was offering a form of unlimited mobile data with a certain amount of texts and minutes. Now with the rise of iMessage, Whatsapp, Skype, etc, they have removed unlimited data for unlimited texts, some even unlimited minutes. Great! offer an unlimited service for something less people are using year on year because there is an better alternative.

Is anyone else disappointed with the battery performance of their iPhone 6? After a weekend away with fairly heavy use (trying out some of the new camera features, tethering as normal) the battery is, at best, no better than the 5S. At worst it delivers a poorer performance.

I hope it is just a case of the battery calibrating itself. If not then this is quite disappointing.

I have the same issue. Seemed fine on Friday and Saturday but yesterday the phone was unplugged at 8.30 and was down to 23% by 22:00 and that was with 4 hour usage.

Just to put it out there....could the excess usage be new customers? And instead of them saying "you only have .5gb this month as it's part way through the month" they instead show you used the difference?

This is on the assumption they still pro-rate allowance. So if a billing month starts on the 25th, and you join on the 15th, then you only get 10 days worth of data.

I haven't been able to check my usage on EE yet, but I did check my wifes who I switched about 3 months ago, she's used .5gb in 14 days so far which seams fair.

I was just going to say how great the battery is but am on a 6plus, it's certainly as good as my note 3.

1 day 7 hours so far, 5 hours 49 use and still 43% left.

Thought I had used 1.8GB of my 2GB already (on EE), but turns out it's just the EE website being ambiguous, as I've actually got 1.8GB left to use (says that in app, but on website it just says 1.8GB/2GB in a pie chart)

Have just found another bug on chrome - Put index finger on the home/touch and give it a wiggle or spin. I lose about a third of the screen! Some really weird things going on here, definitely wasn't tested properly!

Edit - added a screenshot

Can't reproduce that on my 5s it just loads up siri.

Maccy, it thinks you are double tapping for reach mode.

I can get mine to do it if I really swirl around the home button, easier to just double tap though :p
