I think you can get it working on windows but its a bit hacky, I think its sort of BS that apple does that given that most users will liekly work on windows PC (given the astronomical difference in marketshare). Why not stream it to everyone, get more buzz that way aswell.

I really don't get the hype or have ever got it... I was more excited about the Pi coming out.
Must be because I work/fix them everyday... and I guess its cos I'm quite spoilt with the stuff I've arleady have.

Anyone going for the 5.5" version? I'm thinking 4.7" purely for practicality (and I can see the 5.5" phone costing a lot more). I struggled getting an S3 in and out of my jeans pocket when I had one

I was feeling adventurous about going white/silver for the first time, but I'll probably slink back to boring space grey

+1 on 4.7 I held an S4 and felt that was just manageable so 5.5 will be way too big also I might have deeep pockets but not that wide

If the 5.5" version has 2GB RAM and the 4.7 has 1GB, the 5.5 will certainly be tempting...

Just a rumour though.

I'm personally excited about this iPhone release as I can't move from iOS - it's simply perfect for what I want - but I've always wanted a bigger screen, 4.7 is fine and 5.5 might be ok too.

Its not just apple resting on their laurels though, none of the new phones are anything special. I think innovation has pretty much gone stale.
