More width and girth needed. I wouldn't even care if they made it as fat as an iPod classic if the battery would last a week. (That is an exaggeration, but decent use for a full day should be comfortable.)

Yep, I like that design. Certainly not anything mind blowing though, but I have no issues with the current 5S design anyway.

Yeah, and the angular build of the 5/5S is not super comfy, they get away with it since its small but at 4.7" I can see it really starting to dig into your hand as you hold it.

Yeah, the whole lineup has moved too that design, the 5C is very similar, the Mini and Air are also almost exactly the same as the iPod touch now.

If this size/design is true, I still think the key will be Apple using something to allow you to touch the top corners and it ignore the palm of your hand touching the bottom of the screen like the ipad mini does with holding an scrolling. I did post a video a few pages back.

if they do a 4.7", one feature I'd like to see if this. On an ipad mini, it lets you hold the bezel and screen and still be able to use the touch screen shown below at 12:30 -12:52

Should go down slightly, but if it is similar too last year where they remove the flagship for a plastic version then the difference might not be huge.
