Poll: iPhone 6...

I still can't get over the rounded sides. Timelapse photo features on a phone that will no longer stand on its own... Especially not with power button on the other side of camera buttons. It's going to be as unstable and annoying to use in car cradles as all phones with rounded edges are. WTF does design sign offs at Apple.

Coming upto 2 years on iPhone 5, so wanted to upgrade. (sim free)
Was hoping for something with improved battery life, cant even get a full day out of the iPhone 5. Looks like the standard 6 isn't much of an improvement at all.
Will need the 6 plus, to see a significant improvement in battery life.
Have always preferred a smaller phones though, so how big is 5.5" ? easy to carry around in pocket?
Biggest phone i've probably held is an S4, which was ok I guess.

So the 6 compared to the plus has less ram, less resolution and lacking some ios features and of course less battery.
The plus is miles too big for me, gutted they gimped the 6 so much.
Other than the Plus having the optical imagine stabilisation v.s. digital on the 6, the only iOS difference I noticed was the one-handed operation stuff on the bigger one - not exactly missing out on much.

Maybe in 2016 - it'll be a 'tock' yeah in 2015, so iPhone 6S, 6S+.

The smaller iphone 6 is around the size of the s4.
Although the s4 released in april 2013 at least had a 5" amoled 1080p screen.
I don't think they can afford to wait before they do a layout overhaul. I guess I could be wrong and reception to the iphone 6 will be good. iphone 5s was a good looking phone, this just isn't.

My brother in law has a 5.5" phone, he says some of his jeans pockets have warped to the shape of the phone and will get a smaller phone next. lol
It's nearly as tall as width of the ipad air. 8cm wide, 16cm high.

Size wise that would be fine, but same ****** battery life though or there abouts. I do a lot of browsing on phone so drains pretty rapidly.
Probably best to see the 6 Plus in person before deciding to upgrade at all.

lol screw that then, would have probably made better sense to do a 4.5" and 5" versions.
Well the 6 plus is 22mm taller and 8mm wider than the s4, so I would most definitely not use the s4 as guide of the size.

So general consensus is not a good one? just got back in about an hour ago and there doesn't seem to be a buzz there normally is around an apple launch.

probably get hit with import charges which would be considerable?
Not heard of rip off britain? Importing it from the US... bad idea, the import duty would hurt.
