Got my 6. Got to Highcross shopping centre at 2:30. Expected there to still be some sort of a queue but there wasn't. I had some other things to do so went and did them first. Went to Apple at 3:00 and got straight in. The guy went out back, got my phone and we started doing the transaction. While we were doing that this guy appeared from behind the employee and said "Is it a 6? Can I see?" and started to move towards the box. We were all confused because we were standing right next to the display models at the time. I had visions of him trying to grab the box and run off with my phone. The Apple guy must have had the same thought because he kept his hand firmly on the box and told him that it's in its sealed box and to go look at the display models. After that he walked off.

I think the 6+ I got is a little to big. Might try it for a day or two and if not take it back for a normal 6.
.Mrs had today and yesterday off as this is one of the weekend she works so went home to pick it up at lunch time and wish I didn't bother as people have been coming over all afternoon to have a look at my 6 Plus! I think I've swayed about 15 doubters lol.
Really liking it so far and definitely don't regret getting it over the normal 6.

The box the 6 plus comes in is really badly designed with the phone almost guaranteed to fly out when you open it. I'd seen that video of the poor guy being interviewed who dropped his on the pavement so was being really careful but it still jumped out of it's own accord. Luckily only fell a few inches onto the paper on my desk but very poor design from a company that prides itself on this sort of thing!

Have a look under the Accessibility options, there's a 'LED flash for alerts option'.
Been using the 6 Plus now for ~3 hours and man it is so nice, the big screen with the black phone and case really pops!
I can use it with one hand no problem, the top corner icon is a stretch but if I adjust my grip slightly it is fine.
What I have done is moved my apps about so the frequently used ones are easy to reach and I haven't even been using the double tap feature at all since doing that.
Two hand use is excellent, webpages on Safari look great and the iPad style Mail and Messages is a nice feature.
WhatsApp needs an update though as everything is massive!
Football tomorrow so good afternoon out with it, will see how it feels in my suit jacket pocket.
And the Apple leather case is brilliant, without it the phone is a slippery devil!

Thats a horrible solution thou, I wouldn't want my cam flash going off in meetings and other places where I would want my phone on silent.
That is for if you are deaf, lets you know the phone is ringing or messages etc if you don't have it on you for the vibrate.

I think he wants the screen to light up while its on silent and since he couldn't get silent work and has to go Do not disturb mode the screen won't turn on.
but you can't do much from your watch so you still need to pull your phone out. I was really hoping for notifcation LED, love it to bits in my nexus 5, its also RGB so I have custom colours for notifications so I know what needs addressing right away and what I can ignore, its much more subtle then a screen turning on, or looking at your watch.Yeah a proper notification led is what I want. The camera flash is a bit lol.

Went and bought a blue leather case from the Apple store. The Red leather one looked orange! Also had a play with the 6+, it's too big for my liking. Glad I went with the 6. iOS 8 runs brilliantly on it. Glad I made the decision to upgrade from the 4s.

I'm leaning towards keeping it now after playing with a bit longer. It is a really really nice device. I can browse this forum at arms length rather than holding it in front of my face.
