What? The products are fantastic, you make it sound like they are selling second rate phones from a man in a suit with tonnes of charm.

I like windows phone, and no it isn't as restrictive as ios.
I also have an ip6.
And I have an android phone on it's way.

Pretty good overall; problem with these type of announcements is they are as much selling the Apple Lifestyle as the new announcements, the audience on here (Overclockers), firstly is very tech oriented and (at a guess) a majority of non Apple users.

Fair, though I would suspect the iPhone and iPad are the most widely used devices of their type here, I suspect by a significant majority.

Thing with these apple press conferences these days is that everything is known about before the show!

What were all the rumours this time, iPad Pro, iPad mini 4, Apple TV, iPhone 6s with force touch. Got all of them!

The phones were never going to change the world this time round it's the interim S update.

I don't buy it because of this, I buy it because I think it has the best blend of hardware and software, and it ties in best with other things I/people I know use.

For all the people saying it's advertising, the phones themselves are very, very good.

I bought a Galaxy Tab S pad thing as I wanted to play with Android and for me I didn't like it as much as iOS. It always feels sluggish in comparison, hesitates and I still have not idea what the value of multitasking is.

Exactly, it's unfair to say otherwise. They are top of the range products (that's not to say they'll suit everyone).

Ah, i'm not as miffed then .

Yup, they make nice products that work nicely, anyone who suggests otherwise is wrong. The rest is subjective and down to features important to individuals but Apple have lovely stuff with good support. Expensive for what it is, but happy to pay the premium as I like it.

People pretending that Apples products are anything but fantastic are deluded, or have not used them enough.
