Got my reservation for Friday afternoon. I'm hoping that all the fuss will have calmed down by then and I can get in and out quick. I hate shopping there is nothing worse than a stupidly busy shop.

Yeah I'm not looking forward to crowds, hopefully can be in and out relatively quickly, but central Manchester, I think it'll be ridiculous. Travelling to London just after lunch, so got my appointment for 10am.

Mine has been dispatched as well but it's being delivered by UPS here in South Wales. They are always reliable but you never know when they will turn up, the depot is only 8 miles away but they usually seem to deliver around 3pm :(

Really wish they used DPD instead. They always use UPS here for some reason and never other couriers unless it's Royal Mail for cheap stuff like leads.

DPD as well! :D

That very impressive compared to Intel. They should start to be a little worried, if the A chip progresses at its current speed it may surpass Intel in another 2 to 3 years.

Instead of AMD giving Intel as kick up the ass to improve their chops, it may be Apple instead

Question, I'm going to sell my 64GB Space Grey Plus - got a few enquiries from friends - the screen is mint but there are some very light scuffs on the sides and there is one big mark on the right near the bottom antenna band. Boxed, earphones unused etc.

What sort of price ballpark am I looking at? Thinking around £440-450.

I sold my 6, 64GB, Spacegrey unlocked for £350 so your price seems about right.

The 6S is clocked at 1.8GHz, I'm not sure it's that surprising?

ARM beating Intel on raw speed is a big deal. ARM's advantage has always been power management and now it's matching Intel's low end chips for performance too.

And the trajectory of Apple's A-series processors is incredible. They'll soon be giving Intel's i5 CPUs a run for their money.

Depends, that is pure burst speed, Intel could better maintain that speed then ARM. Also this is intel trying its best to get something very low power, and ARM trying its best too get something that very fast. I think it makes sense that there basically coming too the same results.

I think what will be interesting is Skylake, that is the next big intel thing and should be compared too the A9, the boardwell chips was really its first go out a CPU without a heatsink.

However it does really drive the point home that everyone should be focusing on 2 cores.

I upgraded with O2, so not sure if that makes a difference. Under My O2 I go into my account and under recent orders I can click on the order to access the delivery info.
