iPhone 7 price reduction

No Apple didn't reduce the price as much as normal. The price only went down $50, normally it's $100.

The Brexit effect happened last year. The £ is actually stronger now that it was 9 months ago but Apple didn't take that into account when setting these prices (shock horror).

That's perfectly fine, I'll only take issue when posters write total ********. Anyway, I have similar views as you but with Android, however I won't rule out iOS entirely. The G8 and Note8 do look great but I won't touch them with a bargepole due to the butchered OS that Samsung put on them. So Pixel 2 or iPhone X for me.
