No, but you can access web-based clients that'll log you in to multiple accounts.

Can I suggest a merge of this thread with the iPhone V2 thread? :)

Good idea.

I can see these two threads exploding on monday as well as loads more popping up.

Sorry if this is mentioned, and I'm sure it is, but I can't find the specifics anywhere... So I'm gonna ask now.

Why can't you get iPhones anywhere now? Surely not cos of the £169 (if that did ever happen as the topic title says)?

I'm slightly worried, cos I ended my contract with t-mobile the other day, and that stops on 29 June. I done this cos I want to go back to o2, and I also want the iPhone. But at the moment they look impossible to get hold off (not incl the bay), so on the 29th June I'll have no phone. Are iPhones likely to be readily available by then? Or will I be phoneless til the next version, whenever that is due?

Next version is due 9th June at WWDC.

They were reduced to £169 in order to deplete stock levels before the introduction of the next model. However, everywhere sold out almost within a week and now it's like gold dust.

02, CPW and Apple online have stopped selling them completely.

The £169 deal was an attempt to clear existing stock in preparation for the virtually guaranteed arrival of a new iPhone on June 9th. Don't know what prices the new ones will be coming in at but you *should* be able to get hold of a new one by June 29th, depending on when they're actually released over here, and stock levels.

The price drop caused the current iPhone model to sell out, yes. Well the 8gb version at least, but at double the price the 16gb version isn't really viable.

There's a new one due out soon, expected to be similarly priced at ~£269 and subject to similar contract terms (minimum £35 for 18 months)... until somebody unlocks it.

pretty good chance of the new one being out by then i reckon, maybe july.

If you really want the new version, which IMO you would have to be a bit bonkers to buy the old one unless the new one is twice the price, then just buy a cheap nasty pay as you go until its release. My local one begining with A was selling an basic OK nokia for a tenner last week. bargin to tide you over for a month if it comes to that.

Wow, 4 replies in minutes... thanks!

I'm not fussed of the price, I don't really follow apple too closely (well at all) so didn't have a clue about the new iPhone. But if its due imminently, then yes, I agree, I would be mad to get the old model. Ill do as kidloco said, I'll get a sucker phone for as a stop gap.

Are the new iPhones just having 3G support? Or are we expected to have a new look (hardware or software)?
