I was in CPW today. Have a brief play around with the iPhone.
I have to say I was impressed with the feel and the screen on it. They were top quality. Liked the map fuction and satalite images you could get of a certain place.
Txt'in, I did'nt get into that or contacts but it looked a little complex with small ish buttons next to each other and was hard to press a certain button using your finger alone.
Web browsing was intresting using the shops wifi. It loaded pretty quickly. The browser, not sure what it was but it looked decent.
Went on BBC Football to check the scores. I was pretty impressed that you could view the whole page then zoom into the part you wanted. Zooming in, I touched the screen twice. You could also move your 2 fingers outwards to zoom in. It looked cool but I felt it was'nt really practical.
I did find though once you zoomed in, the links were pretty close together and on many times I clicked the wrong one. Would definatly have to use a pen if the phone is supplied with one, I think it could be but not really sure.
Overall for the money, theres no chance that its worth the money. £269 one off payment, the a 18 month contract.
Even the £35 month contract is useless. Its only 200 mins and 200 txts. You would have to get the £45 or £55 which would bring the overall cost even more.
If you want an iPhone badly, I would get one unlocked then use a PAYG sim in there or a cheap sim-only contract.
