The way apple have done it is the worst in my eyes, they've made you require an adaptor. That Griffin one looks quite good though, I've just got a cheap one from *a highstreet competitor* to tide me over until I can get hold of a decent one.

I'd rather Apple bundled a good adapter and cashed in by selling the headphones separately. Instead they've just shafted the end user.
 
It is, but it's recessed into the body of the phone so you need a really narrow plug for it to sit all the way in. Bit of a pain.

World of Apple also recieved the following email from the Carphone Warehouse:

Thanks to the most phenomenal response to the promotion, The Carphone Warehouse is now out of stock on the Apple iPhone.

Please can you remove all reference to the iphone promotion in your copy.

We apologise for the short notice but would like to thank everyone who participated in the campaign. Carphone do not expect to receive any additional stock at this time.
 
It links in with the o2 website saying the same thing today. Apple still stock them though, so not sure if it's just o2 dropping the lower model or the end of the model completely.
 
Just ordered one off CPW, hopefully it'll go through. Don't understand why they need direct debit details though :mad:
 
I'm fairly certain that most stores have them in stock. A lot of people are reporting that they have called local stores and they say they have them instock. Could be just another stunt to increase sales.
