iphone vs LG Viewty

I couldn't stand the Viewty when I tested it. I was so up for getting one but the touch screen I found to be useless. It was a chore to use and just felt like a cheap iPhone.
 
I agree with nearly all coments about the viewty except the camera, once you get to know the settings its fantastic.

However my viewty battery has now just started saying low battery and then dieing 20 mins later :(

Nope, you can stay on whatever firmware you want, they get hacked quickly enough anyway :)

I'm very happy with my 100mins 200txts for £8.75 over 12 months on my iphone :D
 
Iphone V n95 Black? Can get both for free on contract so just wondering which would be better. I like the technology in the n95, but im a sucker for the touch screen on the iphone

I think he's probably referring to the old trick of getting a contract with a free phone expensive enough that you can sell it on ebay for the cost of the iphone. You then jailbreak the iphone and use your sim for said contract in the iphone and have, effectively, got the iphone for free.
 
Whilst I was looking to get a new phone I looked at the Viewty, iphone and the Samsung F700. Didn't want to pay for an overpriced iPhone so went for the Sammy and I haven't regretted it. It's much better than the Viewty and it doesn't have a stupid name! There are a few niggles but overall its great, especially the pull out keyboard. The free Bose headphones aren't bad either :)
