Done this, restarted the desktop app, restarted the browser and it still doesn't give me the download option.

A programme that wasn't showing as downloadable now is showing as downloadable. Last weeks HIGNFY with Clarkson.

Yeah, tis a bit blocky. Windows version seems to cope with it better. Disappointing.

I actually think its to do with the way the app downscales the video, to a smaller size rez. Running the video at full screen looks almost identical to website flash player version.

The quality is slightly surprising - at full screen, it looks absolutely fine, but in a window it looks a bit rubbish. In comparison, the old windows-only download service looks better than the high-quality flash stream in any size of window.

I'm sure it will be a matter of time before the video quality gets better as the Beeb seem pretty keen to get it right and to make sure that everyone is eventually happy.
