Ipod classic, which one?

That piccie of the size difference makes the 160GB seem overly fat.

From my personal experience there's not a lot in it :p

Back in the day iPods came with Musicmatch Jukebox, firewire, a wall charger, and docks hadn't been created yet.. ;)

Edit: How did I end up in Mac hardware? Very well, substitute itunes in here too!

I think Wotda's pic is a bit misleading. He should have made the 80Gb bar red and overlaid it on top of the 160Gb bar so you can compare them more easily I think. :) That's if he made the pic of course.

Heavily contemplating an 80Gb iPod Classic in black in January. Deffo do not need 160Gb. It's just pure and utter filth! :D A mate of mine is going on a trip to Asia next year after he graduates and will want to put music, videos, pics on his iPod so I'm recommending him a 160Gb model.

I've currently got a 40Gb iPod click wheel so I feel I deserve an upgrade. :D My 40Gb iPod came with a dock, cable, headphones, iTunes CD. Now they just pack in an iPod, headphones, cable and universal dock adapter? Think that is what my flatmate got with his. I would probably want to get a new dock for mine, I'm not sure what skin I'd get and if it would be OK to leave it on my desk whilst charging etc.
 
I got the 80G classic last week, it really came in the bare minimal. I end up spending the following

£13 for a case
£25 for a wall charger
£15 for dock with remote (should have been £40, was a misprice)

So, that's £53 and i still like an inline remote for it too.
 
Must be Apple's latest money making idea. Sell the iPod a bit cheaper, don't bundle anything useful with it and get the punters to pay out for stuff they know we'll want. ;)
 
Lol, might b so Marc, i was still shocked when i saw how much a wall charger was for the iPod, but a certain auction site provided instead.
After having had my iPod 80GB for a while now, I can truly say that I was wrong about my hatred for them in the past, they are great and does what i'd expect them to do.
Paired with a good pair of headphones and Sigur Ros, they just make my days soo awesome :).
Oh, and foofpods rule! :P
 
I reckon I am right LLBDTiberio. ;)

I already have a wall charger so I shouldn't need a new one. Unless its for a new firmware upgrade I've hardly used the wall charger. I just plug it in to the PC instead. Course there isn't much in the way of firmware upgrades for my iPod now. :(

And foofpods look OK but I'd want something that I could control the iPod through whilst it was in the case, not having to take it out of the foofpod.
 
Yep that is what it seems to be according to the site. Why would I want a sock for my iPod?! :confused:

When Apple first announced their iPod socks I really thought they were socks to be worn! :D I couldn't understand why Apple thought they would catch on. I mean the length of headphone cable from someone's foot to their ears!! Then I realised. :o
 
My sister actually protect her nano in a sock which goes in her handbag lol

I just bought the Griffin Reflect for mine, but until that arrives I am keeping mine in a bag that came with my Sony minidisc :D Oh the irony
 
An actual sock (prob an odd one out) from her drawer.

I spent about a week thinking about what case to get for mine, from the wooden one from Japan to the itank, to the iskin Evo4 to Belkin plastic, to Logic3 fake leather to Crumpler Real Leather to iskin Claro to Vaja cases to basic Silicon and finally settled on the Griffin Reflect.
