Haven't seen any reviews of that AOC monitor yet. Though at that price it may be worth a shot.

Update:
Well in the end I got the monitor:

Asus VX229H 22" Widescreen AH-IPS LED Multimedia Monitor - Black
I had a think and although I play a lot of FPS, I am nowhere near a pro! I consider getting a K/D ratio of 1.xx as good enough, as I shot more people than shot me, and that's the overall score I get in most games I play, so am far from being pr0! But I enjoy the games!
I have used the monitor for a few days now on cod, titanfall, Wolfenstein and watchdogs and I don't personally notice any issues with the blur or ghosting. This could be because of the monitors I have had in the past, but regardless I am happy and the picture quality is great. Makes all my games look really good with my 7970.
I have also tried fifa on my PS4 and that is really crisp aswell.
Thanks for all the advice...
Those on a budget I would recommend this monitor!

those 34" superwides are temptingly just out of reach...
Yeah it is, certainly not a 400 quid improvement but will see when I get around to it. Hopefully some other 1440p alternatives with decent colours will be close to market
