hehehe, oh... here's a question. do you find that you need to press the pedals once and then after that they work properly?

like I've noticed if I plug them im, go in game.... the wheel is fine... but if I say go on track and then press the pedals for the first time then it does nothing for a second and then picks up the pedals are there and then fine :p or if you go to do the pedal setup wizzard. I'll press the throttle all the way down and back... does nothing... then do it again and it's fine :p guessing some wake up/warm up/initialising or something :p
 
I think it's some limit checking stuff, my G25 does similar, now I make sure I brake fully multiple times as I'm leaving the pits, otherwise it can interpret 50% brake travel as 100% braking which gets interesting :p
 
good good :D first only noticed it when as said, pulling off from the pits it took a second or so to actually move... which I thought was odd.... then when going to brake and my car just kept going :p bit more questionable haha! now i just tap them a few times when loading and at the start.
 
All Logitech pedals do it. My G25 used to do it, caught me out no end of times.

Its part of the calibration process. Every time you freshly start I-racing press all pedals to there full range, turn the wheel full rotation one way and then the other. *I'm not 100% on the wheel part but I do it just in case*

The pedal part I totally forgot about, you can buy a cable made by a guy called Leo he posts on the I-Racing forum and is from the UK there's a website for all his products. The cable is £20 and allows you to run any Logitech pedals "standalone" Huge plus of this is I no longer have to press the pedals every time I load Iracing. They just work.

My SR and IR think its the best £20 I've ever spent on I-racing.
 
There are some real rubbish driver in this game sometimes.

Didn't even make it through turn 1 of lap 1. Someone just drove into me and rolled my car. I'm not saying it was deliberate, but easily avoidable. I'd slowed because I'd seen a car two in front get rolled. The guy behind used too much kerb, which destabilised his car and he hit me. How it managed to roll me over a such a low speed, I'm not quite sure.

18 minutes of repairs after a 3 minute tow.

Disconnected and did a qualifying session.
 
I just had the same issue. Was in 3rd and the guy behind me was gaining but couldn't pass. So in the end he just pushed me off the track on a long right hander, I smashed my car to bits and he just continued. Im the one who loses more rating as well!!

Then report people like this and open a steward enquirey thats what its there for. People like that have no place on a PC let alone I-racing.

He may not do it again and in that case the mark against his name means diddly, if hes a repeat offender he will be suspended or worse perma banned :p

I bought the Ruf C-Spec and the Riley last night, I also got a few tracks (Road America, Road Atlanta, Sazuka and Circuit de spa Francorchamps). This means I can run the Touring Cup for the next few weeks and also the Ruf cup and World Sports car series.

This should keep me busy and hopefully help me decide which series I want to concentrate on in the future.

I had a quick spin in both cars and the RUF is awesome, if not a bit hard to control. The Riley is a lot easier to control and my first impression is I will be concentrating on this one :D

Well done mate, I see it was in the Mazda Cup. Are you planning on moving over to the Touring Cars Series or you going to run both?
 
Gonna run the touring mc and mazda cup until april I think as im in middle of swapping jobs and will have little spare cash. also I might give the other touring races with the Cadillac a go
 
Cadillac isn't an easy car and I'd say a bit too tough to be a D licence car. At least it's included in the base content.

Sounds nice and it's quick.
 
couple of questions guys:

Irating: does this reset each time you move up a license class?

Series Leagues: Are these only run on D Class License and above?
