iRacing

i been trying 3 screens today :D, but mine arent identical, so pondering if i should try and scrape up the money for two more
and i wanna get 120hz on em too, which isnt cheap with the price of adapters...

and itll be a huge help when racing other cars (the tripple, not 120hz)

Stu there won't be any sets that work at spa yet as they will all be OTM setsn we haven't been to spa this season yetn its next weeks race, grab a set for road atlanta or similar track.

If you were using the baseline set that uses a 17 rear wing and that's very hard to drive if you haven't driven it before, ill send you my spa set when I make it..

Pingu mine are all 120hz I could never go back to 60 now, 120 is soooo much smoother and easier on the eye...

i started out with 3 screens which were a mix of 22 inch and 19 inch monitors and it was still better than one. Even 22 inch monitors can be had for under £90 new(or just search fleabay for 2 that match your existing main screen) and adaptors cost no more than a tenner. once its done you wont regret it.

Seems to me, in the vid just 1 screen has enough of the actual track display most of the time
I think it might be more relevant to a FPS for 360 combat but racing you face the action head on most of the time

are you serious mate???

ask anybody that sim races see if they get the same experience from 1 screen as 3, you can see soo much more of the track, you can see cars up along side you, its just so much better and much more immersion. also you can place the car much more accurately on apexs...

yes racing on 1 screen is great but not the same leauge as 3...

its rubbish for fps games IMO, the outside monitors just look fisheye and just put me off...

lol..i thought you were saying thers no need for 3 screens...

@ the lads with the clubsport pedals, i keep reading storys of them failing and been unreliable?

have you had any issues with yours???

i keep hovering over the pay button for them...

it's not that bad, if I stuck to playing on my xbox I'd be sending £400+ a year on games, dlc and live subs so iracing isnt that bad at all once youve got your gear together

thats the thing tho im scared to add it all up what ive spent since joining iracing in January..

triple 120hz monitors, obutto, g27, frex shift + thats all i can think of now but theres some money right there and now add the csp's...

its never ending aswell theres always something to buy/want but thats true with any hobby...

Get the tuning kit with the pedals then move the brake to the 2nd hole and change the spacer to the one in the tuning kit to get very real feeling brake pedal.

For those guys that dont have Iracing some great races to watch here of the dwc
