nice wheel, but id of waited another few weeks for the new clubsport wheel to come out, its meant to be the nuts...

yep im scared to think how much ive spent...

Yeah I was thinking about waiting but from what I have heard its the same quality in force feedback it just has a better wheel. That I'm not too bothered with really especially as it will be a huge step up from my current wheel the dfgt.

Whilst it was drunken purchase, I didnt think about how I'm going to clamp it to my desk lol. I'm hoping I will find some small clamps from B&Q so I don't have to buy that god aweful table system they sell.

i thought they have developed a whole new base unit?.

also the wheels are quick release and that bmw rim looks the nuts as does the f1 wheel..

hard mount it?, only be 2 6mm holes wont it???

We all got Oulten park now ?? Might host a Oulten park mx5 and solstice(for people who hate the mx5) Ocuk race a bit later on. I'd use the radical but the rest of us will have no chance against skill and Gravey.

If we don't all have Oulten park ill use one we all have. Anyone up for this ? nothing serious just drive some laps together.

I'm pretty sure its similar but I could be wrong, its going to be another £100 on the price though and the elite was already way past my budget. Going to have to improvise to get it mounted to the desk but it shouldn't be too hard to work out.

Did some practice laps of Road Atlanta short in the Radical last night. It's a big step from the MX5. I'm about 4 seconds off the aliens after about 20 laps of practice. That's on the odd occasion I actually complete a lap without spinning out of turn 3. I also imagine a 45-60 minute race in the Radical is going to be hard work at any track. I take it there's no power steering in the real car, because it feels very heavy on my wheel compared to the MX5.

Good fun though.

i run 6 ffb in game for the radical and 106% in profiler, i know you use a t500 but try lowering ffb in game. i have damping on 0 in game aswell...

The MX-5 is a lot lighter steering than the Radical, so yeah might be worth turning down the in-game FFB strength to suit (if you want there's a checkbox in the bottom left of the setup options iirc that only applies any settings to that car rather than globally)

The race length does make it a bit more interesting, at first I struggled to go through a full 45 minute race without losing concentration, but it gets easier, and I also pace myself a lot better now which makes it easier as well. Is there still only 1 60 minute race (Silverstone?) if so that track isn't too bad for the 60 minutes I found, only issue being doing a fair few laps, thinking it must be nearly over and then finding out you've still got half an hour to go :p

Yeah, just checked and seen the Spa was 60 minutes as well, tried to remember it last season but can't remember running there at all, it seems I did though :p

2 races apparently, just no recollection of them at all, remember at least portions of all the other tracks I did last season, just not that one ¬_¬

I have my radical ingame feedback roughly half the amount I have used compared to the mx5.

Im always moving it slightly but basically the mx5 I have set between 14-15
Radical is about 8.0 + or - 0.6

So basically half the mx5 feedback and start from about there.

Sorry I didn't answer your message last night on Steam, by the time I'd read it you were shown as offline. I don't turn off my PC that often and Steam doesn't show you as AFK automatically, so I appear online nearly all the time.
