Heard it here first :)

I was really disappointed that we had that incident Andrew as it was good fun. :(

Lee would have won that hands down. He was already 2 seconds ahead at the start of lap 2 and I never would have caught him.

Had a quick couple of laps in the cup car and its very fast in the corners.

It was my fault anyways dude, I brake and cut across you too much trying to get a good line.. Im total crap at that corner! Real close racing other than that! I think on the lap before hand we were almost touching for an entire corner lol

Just tried the Oval racing.. Enjoyed it more than I though I would. However first race and I had a massive massive massive crash and I think it took out about 5 other cars!

Yeah I enjoy oval as well. It is a lot less forgiving though and I think mainly due to the fact you are always close to another car due to the nature of the racing. And therefore one mistake by you or someone else can be costly.

The Ruf kinda drifts nicely, it was more of a controlled slide, but managed to be sideways from the start of T1 to T2 at Suzuka, even managed to downshift in the middle lol, if i work out video capture and editing ill get it up, was kinda cool.

welcome to oval :p

was watching a stream of some league last night. had 30 street stock (I think) cars on what looked like the worlds smallest oval track!!!! literally when they were running behind the safety car 2 wide they would almost tail back back onto them selves xD

was a 300 lap race and I have no idea how many times there was a yellow flag/safety car...but it was a LOT!!!

was literally instance where the safety car would come off, and before it would even get to it's stopping position in the pits there would be another yellow flag haha!

Oval is fun even if you race just to listen to the Banter from all the Deep South accented folk. That makes it for me, even if you aren't very good at it as long as you learn how to avoid the pack when being lapped and being a good back marker they don't mind you being there. You will most likely be thanked for getting out the way cleanly.

yeah :D it's pretty fun! yeeeeehawwwww! they took errrr joobbssssss...and such...:p

yeah if I've screwed up I always let people know I;m sorry and when pasing or people going to pass me I always give clear instructions like "I'll slow down here so you can pass me on the left"...or "number xyz I'm coming up on your left side".

at least then if he swings down onto me I can be like WTF?!?!?! I clearly said I was there... :p

Argh. Have driven 4 races tonight. Race 1, in 1st place, 4 laps to go. Overtake a back marker then brake for the corner and he smashes me off the track. Race two and again overtaking a back marker get sideswiped off the track. Race 3, 1st place with two laps to go. Someone comes out the pits and smashes into me and the 2nd place driver. Race 4, first corner and someone uses me as their brakes. :(

Can only get better, right? :)

Rookie MX5, I shouldn't be surprised :)

Happily I drove two more races afterwards and managed to win them both with no incidents. I think I may have been in the lowest splits. My Iracing and SR dropped so much in the last few days though! Not to worry though as I'm still very new to it all.

yeah mate keep it up, practice makes perfect :D I found that after a couple of week I could pretty much stay out of trouble in rookie races and finish in top 5 most of the time.

Do you guys have the racing line on when you race?

I have the racing line on to get used to the track but tend to turn it off and do my own thing. Think I tend to go a tiny bit faster doing what feels best, though I'm still slow lol.

Problem is when you take a different line through a corner with a later braking point lol, got very close to the back of someone last night in the mazda cup lol

wow im really struggling with the Ruf C-Spec around suzuka. I seem to be sliding all over the place  My best time so far is 2:13.9 :confused::confused::confused:

I didnt think it would be this hard to drive
