Iran agents 'planned US terror attacks'

I knew as soon as I saw this story that people on here would denounce it all as made up.

I knew before clicking the thread, the same posters would be saying the same things "the west is too blame blah blah blah"

I think conflict with Iran is only a matter of time, the way that country is run and the people in it are a direct conflict with the rest of civilisation.

That's for them to solve, not bombing runs or tank squadrons.

Indeed.

I wish people would realise the ineffectiveness of circular imperialism. Instead of hypothetically starting an Iranian war, Western governments would have been better getting that finger out of their backside during the Arab Spring... but that would imply they don't want controllable governments..

I am sure conflict doesn't need to take place.

As for civilisation, if you look at the world as a whole, there are various conflicts worldwide between different countries/tribes/ etc for different interests.

the iranian 'perceived' conflict is only one of them. So it doesn't exactly place it against the whole world ;)

Im no conspiricist or anything but ive got to say this does sound like overhyped propaganda bull**** on the USA's part as per usual.

They always paint Ahmadinejad to be this crazy *** leader who will strive to take the world to war. To be fair the crazy part is correct, However Ahmadinejad isnt exactly leader of the country...He's actually 14th in terms of power in Irans's hierachy but America never mentions that do they? also not to mention most of Iran regard Ahmadinejad as a complete and utter joke.

War mongering conveniance right there what with Afghanistan and Iraq on either side.

/conspiricy nutjobiness :D

Great just what we need, another War. As if the economy isn't messed up enough already. And I thought we were starting to recover.

(That is if it even gets that far.)

War, although expensive does tend to boost the economy through industrilisation therefore getting many more people into jobs. Albeit when you come out of war your hit with an even harder depression than the one before.

Surely you mean total war? I would agree in the case of total war, but in any other case, I don't see how it can, given how much of our equipment is purchased from other countries.

But you also got to remember the amount of lives that would be lost in this war. I reckon it could be worse than Iraq if it did happen. Lets hope it all gets resolved.

Depends if they continue their quest for nukes I guess, although Israel will probably bomb their reactors to high heaven before that happens.

And countries really regard the cost of life in any situation, vietnam for instance? really do hope this run's out of hot air. Cant help but feel another campaign would be futile and rather pointless considering how overstretched the west is now.

No, the poor dears are so starved for energy that they're having to start an entirely civilian nuclear energy programme.

Hehe that made me chuckle out loud.

Vietnam was over 30 years ago, I sure hope governments have learnt from that mistake.

The tinfoil hat brigade really make me laugh.

We all know it is high time that we had squadrons of giant Mechs we could send in so there would be no human cost.
