Iran protests after death of mahsa amini

This is a pic from the 1979 protest when forced hijab was being brought in:

And before the regime came to power, here is what the Iranian people lived like:

These protests are probably the clearest "good vs evil" case you can ever find.

One side are the incredibly brave people who are protesting for their most basic individual rights and civil liberties and the other side is an archaic theocratic fascist government that is 1400 years out of date and does not belong in the 21st century.

Iran/Persia has been one of the most influential civilisations in human history and I really hope they can take back their country from these monsters and take back their place as a productive country in international stage.

This isnt going to do much for your cause attacking UK police.

Nut jobs in the UK

But well done to the people in Iran.
It used to be a great place till the religious nut jobs got in.

***** off to Rwanda. If you can’t be bothered to tackle injustice outside of your 4 walls, or even worse allow others (maybe in exile) to do the same I’m not sure you understand what the “human race” is. Hint - you’ve been pwned by the Daily Mail or whoever. Be brave, think your own thinks!

I have to declare a personal interest in Iran, probably the country in that part of the world where the people have values most similar to the UK.

wasnt iran a CIA op for regime change

FREEEEDOOOOM

Murica ruining the planet one country at a time

Your own links mention Britain's involvement in that, yet you don't mention that at all?

The reality is that the British were in control of the area for a while, and were loving the oil they were stealing for years and years. The Iranian people didn't like that, so they elected a "socialist" who promised to nationalise Iran's oil, to rightfully stop Britain's theft. Britain didn't like that, but were too cowardly and incompetent to handle it all themselves, so Britain decided to make up a lie about Iran seeking to seriously ally with the Soviets. That's what activated the CIA. For the Americans, they saw it as scoring a proxy win over the Soviets. But the British had their own ends e.g. the continued economic rape of Iran, for a while longer.

wonder how libya is doing with it's new found freedom, Syria managed to survive somehow though.

It was the French that led the fight against Qaddafi. The US and UK were partners.

America should be taking in the migrants coming to Europe, they made them

So should Britain, wouldn't you agree?

Totally agree with regime change, but worry that change might be sponsored by those outside of the country, who's track records are hardly Noble prize worthy :(

Things are heating up now. Anonymous has made a lot of inroads into the dictator's infrastructure and protests are heating up, but so are the retaliations. Lots of reports of small schoolchildren being arrested, beaten and even shot by morality police and security services. My proxies have never been more in demand.
