Iron Maiden New album title and track listing announced

Just preordered both versions of the single from whatrecords.co.uk

The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg. Ordered both the cd and the 7" picture disc versions. Hopefully I should have it before the official release date of the 14th of august.
 
It should probably be said that they've decided not to mix and master the album. So what it actually sounded like when being recorded in the studio, is the way it's going to sound on disk.

well the bruce air is a present, while i did pay for my own tickets for the earl's court shows. Although I think its worth it, and these will be the only big gigs I will be going to this year.
 
this is amazing.

I can't believe it, listened to it on repeat for 2 hours and its kept me up til 4am.

The sound is LANGUAGE! because its a low quality internet stream, trust it'll sound better on CD.

It's a decent song but not groundbreaking, even for Maiden. Infact it reminds me of To Tame a Land on Piece of Mind even though it doesn't actually sound like it. :confused:
 
Holy thread revival!!!

Well the new album is upon us in a few days in the UK. Some of europe has it already and of course it was leaked on the net this week, but I will resist the temptation to download it because I want to hear it as intended.

From the reports it appears as if this really is the Maiden's best album for a long time.

This weekend will be a long one. Roll on Monday!!
 
I've heard it at a friend's, and for me Brave New World is still a better 'modern' Maiden album, but this one is definitely as good as Dance of Death - therefore it's amazing :D

Can't wait to go and buy it on Monday.

The album is very different from anything they've done before. Its going to take a lot of listens. I hated Ben Breeg at first but now i love it, just hope the rest of the material is a grower.
