Is a Quest 2 the way to go?

well **** ******* me! only had it a couple of hours and i know i'm gonna be hooked. it even won the wife over, she's been playing the beat saber demo and offered to give me half the money for the headset - i told her to jog on and buy her own!

now i just need to get the longer cable for pcvr (i think that's the abbreviation?) some prescription lenses and a load of games!!

It's some experience isn't it? There is just no way to describe it and no description compares to putting a headset on and trying it out.

Welcome to the the new reality :p Feel free to add a few of us as friends.

I understood that reference.

May have been mentioned already but I really recommend Doom3Quest installed via Sidequest. Already had the steam game (non BFG version). Make sure to read install instructions to run game once APK is installed before copying the .pk4 files.
Clarity of graphics for games running on the Quest 2 itself rather than via VD/Link is so much better

Hopping on this, is the stuff I've already got for CV1 backwards compatible?

Would love a resolution upgrade but I'll just stick with CV1 if I can't play the stuff I've already got
