I have a manual internet connection. I write down a bunch of 1s and 0s on a piece of paper and send them via Royal Mail. Luckily I can also see into the future allowing me to respond to this thread.

Hrm, I used my home cisco lab to throttle down to 64K a while ago and it was painful. No thanks
I do remember the days of being on Direct Connection 56K and it was awesome at the time. Amazing how you take things for granted as technology evolves.
