I thought I would report back. I have added an Arcam P25 power amp to my system and I must say I am happy with the difference it has made. It's difficult to describe, but the only way I can think of is to describe it as more “effortless”.
Typically amps are built to a price, so by adding more current handling the amps aren’t working so hard so you should find there’s less distortion.
Careful of confirmation bias but if it sounds better then that’s a plus.
If you think biamping is nuts my headphone amp has a collective power supply of 650watts.. for milli-watts (ie 0.030 watts) of output

Definitely no confirmation bias, even my wife agrees. On another note I’m sending back an Arcam ST60 because I can’ t tell the difference between that and my Sonos connect. I really wanted to like that bit of kit.
