Is Game of Thrones worth watching?

Season 1 starts of slow, but it's still good! S03E09 was amazing. <- Don't bother looking into it. Massive spoilers.

I never ever watched it. But then one night, I was bored and series 1&2 was on catchup.

I thought I would try an episode or two to see what the fuss was about. I ended up watching at least 2 episodes a night until I was up to date.

Absolutely stunning program. Runs you through the whole gamut of emotions. Sadness, Anger, Laughter, nervousness, sympathy, you name it, it makes you feel it at some point. Truly brilliant.

I still have to watch it, but we don't have sky which means having to buy it, which currently isn't possible :(

watched all three series in last month! amazing! why wasnt s03 e09 the finale?!

well worth watching!

there is only one thing i dont like. .. only 10 episodes per series!!

Its not really my thing but easily one of the best things on TV at the moment, has its ups and downs but some of the characters are just so well done you'll likely watch it just for that. (If for nothing else).

In all honesty Books > Television show.

It is for the large part quite good and well done, it has received a lot of hype and suffers from being overhyped I think, but it's still enjoyable and there are considerably worse things to watch on television Mag.

For what it's worth, it's not typically my type of television show.

All the shows i watch at the moment are on breaks for a few months, so i have nothing to watch.

Have been looking into this to watch, the GF grumbles when i ask her about it but think ill just grab a few eps and give them a go.

Is it on netflix or anything?

I put off watching GoT for a long time but as soon as I watched the first episode I was hooked and then proceeded to watch season 1 and 2 in the space of about a week and then couldn't wait for season 3.

Am now eagerly awaiting season 4, it's one of the best TV Shows I've watched!

We thoroughly enjoyed seasons 1 and 2 and we are just watching season 3 now. It is as good as noted above but it must be because I'm retarded in some way, as a lot of what is happening goes right over my head.

I have never watched an episode and I'm not sure it's the sort of show that I'd enjoy. But is it good? Am I missing out?

I never started watching until series 3 and that was simply because some of it was filmed just a stones throw from my house. I've now gone back and completed both series 1 and 2 and like a lot of other people, can't wait for series 4. I always said it never appealed to me, was I wrong!

I'm not really in to fantasy, or at least I didn't think I was at the time. I saw all this hype surrounding GoT and thought **** it, what have I got to lose. It's HBO and most stuff on HBO is well produced even if it's rubbish. Watched the first episode and the rest is history. Hooked and ended up reading the books! I've yet to try out any other fantasy though and I probably won't.

If you don't like fantasy, watch it anyway.

The fantasy element isn't really what drives the show, it's just in the background. At it's heart, it's a character driven show and unlike your typical TV show where the main characters are invincible, no one in GoT is safe. It will genuinely surprise you.
