Hi guys,
I've put together a secondary build with reasonably good bits and pieces; gigabyte p31 mobo, q6600 slacr, 450w corsair psu and at stock settings I'm 100% stable - 26hrs prime95
However, as soon as I overclock I get errors/bsod etc. Even with the slightest OC - 200MHz for example. I've tried lots of combinations in the bios and I can boot into windows but as soon I put the system under any sort of pressure, it falls over.
Since the q6600 is such a great chip I'm beginning to think that its my ram; 4gb of generic stuff out of an old lenovo machine
Any thoughts?
