I like how Apple give you the chance to 'limit' ad tracking only, and not remove it. I guess they need a few more 79p's to disable it fully.
No google search? Maps?
Anyway, that is why they sell your data. To generate a revenue. How else do you expect them to make money.
No? DuckDuckGo and Apple Maps work great. It’s perfectly possibly to break out of the Google prison you know!
Prison
Google works great, they can have the data I give them because it doesn't affect me.
If you believe that then you'll believe anything...data is just as valuable to Apple as to Google; just because Apple has a hardware arm which is also incredibly profitable, it doesn't mean that they don't generate an advertising profile about you.
It's worth also noting, you can disable all their tracking and delete your entire history associated to your Google account.
Provided by Google themselves.

OP reads like he is expecting money from google in return for his personal data and usage of their services and he has protested by moving onto a paid service
I pay for iCloud storage. For that I get email, calendar, contacts, photos, files, and any number of other features synced across all my devices. All for just 79p per month without having to give away all my data for Apple to sell adverting.
Nope, history not deleted. Yes it's odd because here are indeed loads of others.did you possibly remove your history so can't find it because of that? there's hundreds of videos on youtube detailing exactly what you've said, so to suggest google would delete that one video, but leave the rest is, well, i don't want to get banned for the word i'd use for someone that thinks like that.
