is GRID worth getting?

I've played the game since release on a Logitech cordless rumblepad 2, and never had any bother.

Configured the controls ingame and it's always played great.

Do you have a Xbox 360?

If the answer is no, then don't bother.

Unless you want to go out and buy a 360 controller(which is very good apparently)

Steam can be a **** take!!!

GRID was £25 when I got from steam @ $39.99. Not bad considering its an instant download.

At any rate, I love GRID. Even though it is arcady and me being a sim-racer fanatic, I just thought their outlook on how to make a good arcade racing game is awesome.

My only problem with it is my G25 doesn't feel right with the game...unresponsive sort of thing. I hear the xbox360 controller for the PC is highly recommended for this game.

Some more info as I increase my disdain for this game...
I got my Logitech force feedback wheel back off my boss today and re installed this game..

By the way it takes up 10.1 GB :eek::eek::eek: of space, which I also find bloody ridiculous.
Anyway, Reinstalled none the less and tried again..
What a surprise, it doesn't even recognise the wheel.
Went to uninstall it and it crashes and wont remove LOL, it knows that I have lost patience with it now..
One for members market I think!!

Piece of **** TBH

Does anyone know anyway of getting grid running on a mac?

It will via Bootcamp. I've tried it on my original revision MacBook Pro (1.83 GHz, ATI x1600) and it will just about play at 640x480 on minimum detail. It really needs more graphics power. My desktop PC (E6750, ATI 4850) is 500% better - 1600x1200, Full AA, maxxed out detail without breaking sweat.
