Gotcha :p

Now multiplayer and when getting invited to matches is good.

but when running a quick search. it takes freakin forever. i'm ona 3mb line and when it comes up with a game i press A immediately to join and it says the server has been lost.

anyone else getting this?

Have to agree that GOW in general is cack, completely lacking in gameplay.

Single player offers nothing but the run of the mill linear boredom that companies churn out these days, and Mulitplayer is just dire.

Eventually got into a match with aload of sweeds. great fun now :D just curb stomped someone

i think gow is the best 360 game out .
but can someone explain why a microsoft triple AAA game is only eight players online!!!!!!!!!!

because if there were anymore it would get crowded imo

i only ever played project gotham on 360 live so am not aware of lag issues
the eight players is the only thing that puts me off ,i usually play counterstrike and day of defeat on pc,so eight players seems tiny

also got hold of the wireless headset on 360 ,its charging it up at the moment but will let you know when i try it online ..

yeah, would like to know what that's like. it looks very cool

i think gow is very good

single player is very atmospheric and emersive. love how the enemy charge at you, inducing panic :)

multiplayer is cool. i like the smallish maps and up close action. and i can actually get through a game without totally embarrassing myself :D

i have had connection problems also while trying to connect to online games, haven't had any lag though

i suppose the hardened online shooters would see nothing new with the gameplay and find the enclosed action hard to get to grips/terms with.

like the old saying...you can't please all of the people all of the time

Finally in a game, and the quality of this headset is great. I wouldn't necessarily say any better than the wired, but hey, I think it's pretty comfortable.

I'm inclined to agree, I think its one of the most dissapointing games I've played.

After all the hype surrounding it I was expecting a game with a story.

I've played it twice thro' and still dont have a clue why I was doing what I was doing.

Why was Fenix is jail? What is the releavance of going back to the Fenix estate? (I know to get the info on the tunnels, but it seems to me like we went back to Fenix's childhood home yet it is never referenced) What is imulsion? (oil i assume) and about a million more things that are never explained.

I feel that they spent far too long on the graphics, because they are pretty, and not enough time on the rest of the game. You cant even smash glass bottles!

Good game, total let down tho'

It's a good game but after the first few days I've not played it online much because vegas beats it hands down in mp.

Fenix was in jail due to the fact he went to try and save his father from a Locust attack during a mission, thus disobeying orders.

There's not much information about Fenix's father at the moment except for the fact he was a renowned scientist. From what I've heard, this is the first in a trilogy, and is being used to set the mood, rather than the plot.

As for where the Locust come from; it's suggested in the manual that the the Locust have ALWAYS been underground, just never believed to be real (often referred to as a boogie-man style myth). That is, until Emergence Day.
