Is it safe to build a 7800X3D system yet?

Not according to the extensive testing done by gamers nexus. They proved its all down to user error.

Soldered connections wrapped in plastic and carrying upto 50 amps is a flawed design. Add to this the cable is made in China probably from the lowest bidder and you have flawed design that’s poorly implemented. Add to all that, the flawed design is part of a chain of three other connections all adding resistance. Nvidia then place this in hands of the public to prove the issues. With the sheer numbers of failures on Nvidia graphics card, it proves the issues with the implementation.

As I said I’d be much more concerned with the RTX 4090.

i like the 7800x3d, a lot less cpu bottleneck in games compared to the 5800x it replaced, running 1616 bios from asus with custom ram timings and voltages to help things out
